extra info: not my best rendition of sound of silence by disturbed (original song by simon and garfunkel). still, it came off well and the bar on the northeastern edge of philadelphia liked the performance. this was the day before halloween so everyone is dressed up. the man who sings with me is a very accomplished musician named georgie. he added harmony on the fly without practice. of course if i did a recording at home or in a studio of sound of silence it would be better. live performances are always iffy at best.

extra info: our 3rd annual performance for the celebration of bands 2017. cob is a 6 hour long competition with 5-10 local marching bands competing for trophies. there are judges who judge the shows. the alumni band joins the regular marching band to play 4 songs. 1. god bless america 2. pompeii 3. shut up and dance 4. star spangled banner. i'm one of the 2 alumni trombones. i'm almost exactly in the middle of the field.
